Description

IREN is a vertically integrated AI Cloud provider, delivering large-scale data centers and GPU clusters for AI training and inference. IREN’s platform is underpinned by its expansive portfolio of grid-connected land and power in renewable-rich regions across North America, Europe and APAC.
With 100% renewable energy, we build, own and operate our data centers and take pride in being at the forefront of sustainable solutions for the ever-evolving applications of high-performance compute. We believe that human progress is invaluable, but it should be done in the right way – responsibly, sustainably and having a positive impact on the communities we operate in.

The Role
The Performance & Reporting Analyst turns the operating and maintenance data from IREN's data center facilities and infrastructure into the performance picture that keeps the fleet available: one set of indicators measured the same way at every site, baselines and trends that show drift before a limit is reached, a record of deviations and exceedances and how quickly they were closed, and the stewardship reporting that site, regional, and executive reviews run on.
The scope is every campus and every asset class, from commissioning baseline through operation to lifecycle decisions. The role sits in the Operational Excellence team within Asset Management & Operational Excellence and works daily with site Operations, the integrated operations center, the asset data team, and the reliability engineers. This is a fleet-wide role with an initial focus on our Texas campuses.

Requirements
  • Produce fleet performance indicators (availability and redundancy margin, MTBF, MTTR, unplanned downtime, PM compliance, corrective completion, backlog, PUE and WUE) on the infrastructure asset hierarchy, drawing on the systems of record (CMMS, plant historians, BMS/PMS, incident and ticketing platforms, finance), so every site is measured the same way.
  • Partner with the Associate Director to design and evolve the fleet KPI framework and stewardship cadence, including the executive pack: availability and reliability, maintenance, asset risk, data quality and adoption, electrical, cooling and controls health, lifecycle and spares exposure, incidents, cost drivers, and improvement initiatives.
  • Establish and maintain statistical baselines and trends for each indicator and asset class; surface drift, step changes, seasonality, and outliers ahead of any limit; keep the baseline reference set so reports compute deviation automatically, re-baselining after major change and on a set cycle.
  • Run the deviation and exceedance record: log deviations and operating-limit exceedances raised by analysis, the integrated operations center, and the sites; track response and closure against time standards.
  • Run the reporting cadence, from live dashboards through daily, weekly, and monthly reports to the executive and Board pack and annual disclosures, with the same indicators at site, regional, and executive grain.
  • Hand reliability engineers the patterns, repeat exceedances, and bad actors to investigate. You define the statistical normal and escalate against it; the engineers set engineering limits and interpret asset condition.
  • Own indicator definitions with the asset data lead: each a documented formula with fixed numerator, denominator, and measurement boundary, applied the same way at every site.
  • Extract, transform, and reconcile data across systems of record; publish a data-quality report (completeness, timeliness, exclusions, manual overrides, reconciliation differences) alongside the indicators; automate manual reporting and keep definitions under version control.
  • Supply the analysis behind continuous improvement, loss elimination, benchmarking, readiness handovers, audits, lessons learned, and the operational risk register; present findings clearly to site teams, regional leaders, and executives.
